This new phrase, “CHARMANT-MADE,” refers to products that are the result of CHARMANT’s unique manufacturing approach and methods that incorporate novel materials, giving shape to eyeglass comfort.
The two rings represented in the CHARMANT logomark are “research and production.” CHARMANT begins with the idea of delivering the ideal set of eyeglasses to each person who needs one. In order to achieve this lofty goal, combining research and production is essential for us.
The purpose of the research division is to develop technologies that will change the future of eyeglasses. The production division that stands alongside it houses skilled personnel who are responsible for design, engineering, and production technologies. These personnel work together to complete advance inspections and increase the precision of engineering data, before continuing on to the start of production. One of CHARMANT’s strengths is its start-to-finish, unified manufacturing process.
This process is the product of 70 years of refinement in Sabae City, Fukui Prefecture. This is what it means to be “CHARMANT-MADE.” CHARMANT will continue to walk the path of innovation, now and into the future.
